Why am I seeing a different price for the ticket than other players?

Prices are determined through a variety of factors, including your country’s exchange rate and app store pricing tiers. This can explain why you may see differences in prices for the same item.

How can I tell whether I have a ticket?

After purchasing the ticket, you can find it in your Item Bag. You may need to reboot your device to see it.

Can I purchase tickets for other players?

No, players can purchase tickets for only themselves. To purchase a ticket on accounts for children, parents should ensure that in-app purchases are not restricted on their children’s devices. This can usually be found in the app store’s settings.

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

Tickets to this event are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service).

If I don’t purchase a ticket, will there be any bonuses during that weekend?

Yes, you will be able to enjoy some GO Fest content throughout the weekend, even if you don’t purchase a ticket. However, a GO Fest ticket will be required to experience the full event.

What’s the difference between Day 1 and Day 2?

Each day of GO Fest will feature a different Special Research story that ticket holders can obtain only during each day’s respective event hours.

Additionally, Day 1 will include the Global Challenge Arena.

The features of Day 2 will be a surprise, so ticket holders will learn what we have in store that very day.

Do I have to play within the event hours to receive the Special Research?

You will need to log in during the event hours each day to collect both Special Research stories, but you can complete them at any time after that. For a full event experience, we recommend playing during event hours on both days.

There aren’t many Gyms/PokéStops/Pokémon nearby. Will this affect my experience?

For GO Fest ticket holders, Incense will be extra effective at attracting Pokémon! We recommend using Incense throughout the event. Additionally, Incense activated during event hours will last for one hour each.

If you are unable to complete the GO Fest Special Research during GO Fest, don’t worry! Special Research does not expire, so you do not need to finish the tasks during the event weekend.
