This Electric- and Poison-type GO Wild Area event features the global Pokémon GO debut of Toxtricity, the Punk Pokémon! Trainers may even encounter Shiny Toxtricity, if they’re lucky.

Get ready—Gigantamax Toxtricity will be making its Pokémon GO debut in Max Battles during Pokémon GO Wild Area!

Toxel will be hatching from 10 km Eggs during this event! Trainers may even hatch a Shiny Toxel, if they are lucky.

This year’s Pokémon GO Wild Area will have plenty of Electric- and Poison-type Pokémon, but that’s not all! Trainers may also find themselves in encounters with unusually powerful opponents known as mighty Pokémon! All mighty Pokémon have some shared traits.

• More likely to have high Attack, Defense, and HP ratings
• More likely to be XL or XXL
• More difficult to capture
• Encounters will show “!!!” instead of CP

Trainers may even encounter Shiny versions of these mighty Pokémon, if they’re lucky! Using the new GO Safari Ball when trying to capture these Pokémon will greatly improve your chance of success.

Snorlax wearing a studded jacket will debut globally during GO Wild Area: Global! Trainers may even encounter a Shiny one—if they’re lucky!

For the first time since 2021, these stylish Pikachu will be appearing globally in Pokémon GO! Ticket holders can encounter them by completing Special Research, Collection Challenges, or by taking a GO Snapshot during GO Wild Area: Global.

Trainers may even encounter Shiny Pikachu Pop Star and Shiny Pikachu Rock Star, if they’re lucky!

Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palkia will appear in raids during this event, and all Trainers will have a chance to encounter these Pokémon. On top of that, they may come with their signature attacks—Origin Forme Dialga may know the Charged Attack Roar of Time, and Origin Forme Palkia may know the Charged Attack Spacial Rend!

Adventure Effects are also reported to occur when these moves are used outside of battle!

Challenge Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon in Primal Raids during GO Wild Area: Global!

Debuting globally during this event, GO Safari Balls are highly effective Poké Balls that make capturing Pokémon much easier. Try using one when encountering a mighty Pokémon!

All Trainers will receive a Timed Research task during the event that awards a small number of GO Safari Balls when completed. Additionally, you’ll have a chance to acquire GO Safari Balls when spinning Photo Discs at PokéStops during the event—if you’re lucky!

Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global ticket holders will receive one Timed Research task each hour during the event that awards additional GO Safari Balls. These tasks will expire one hour after they are issued, so all rewards must be claimed before then!

All unused GO Safari Balls will expire and disappear from your Item Bag at 6:15 p.m. local time each day of the event.

During GO Wild Area: Global, all Trainers will have a chance to catch Pokémon with a Special Background after winning Max Battles against Toxtricity or winning four-star, five-star, and Primal Raids! These commemorative backgrounds will appear on the Pokémon’s summary page.

All Trainers will receive the following bonuses and rewards during event hours.

• Lure Modules activated will last for two hours
• Chance to catch Pokémon with a Special Background after winning Max Battles against Toxtricity or winning four-star, five-star, and Primal Raids
• Field Research themed around the different Pokémon habitats
• One GO Snapshot surprise event encounter per day—when taking snapshots during the event, you never know who might show up!
• Daily limit for collecting Max Particles increased to 1,600
• No Remote Raid limit from Friday, November 22, to Sunday, November 24, 2024

All Trainers will be able to get Pokémon GO Wild Area–themed stickers in the in-game shop from Friday, November 15, to Sunday, November 24, 2024! These stickers will also be available via PokéStops and Gifts during event hours from Saturday, November 23, to Sunday, November 24, 2024.

Ticket holders will be asked to select between an Electric- or Poison-focused path during this event’s Special Research story, and they will become an expert Trainer of their chosen type. This decision will affect what Special Research reward encounters you’ll have, which medal you’ll receive, and post-event bonuses—so choose carefully!

Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global ticket holders will receive the GO Wild Area 2024 Pose as part of the event’s Special Research story.

This pose will be also available for purchase in the in-game shop starting November 15, 2024.
