GO Battle League: Season 11 Update

GO Battle League Season 11 is set to begin!
After a relaxing season off, it’s time to get back to battling with Season 11! We’ve got a whole slew of new cups just waiting to be won, and of course we can’t forget to mention the ongoing Pokémon GO World Championship Series events!

Season 11 start date, rank resets, and end-of-season rewards
GO Battle League Season 11 will start on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7).
The following will occur at the beginning of the season.
- End-of-season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as in Season 10.
Season 11 Schedule
The following leagues will begin and end at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7) on the dates listed below.
Season 11 GO Battle Events
GO Battle Day: Mankey
Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time
A GO Battle Day featuring Mankey, plus the return of a featured attack for its Evolution, Primeape!
Bonuses
- 4× Stardust from win rewards.
- The maximum number of sets you can play per day will be increased from five to 20—for a total of 100 battles—from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time.
Featured Pokémon - Mankey
Available from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time
- Mankey will be guaranteed to appear as a reward encounter.
- In each set, the first win reward from the Basic track will be a reward encounter. The second through fifth win rewards will remain unchanged.
- All win rewards from the Premium track will be reward encounters.
Timed Research
Timed Research focused on battling will be available for the whole day!

- Bea-Style Gloves
- An Elite Charge TM

Guaranteed rank-up encounters
You can encounter the following Pokémon once per season at the designated ranks.
Standard Encounters
You can encounter the following Pokémon in reward encounters throughout the season at the ranks shown in the image below.
Avatar items and other rewards
Pikachu Libre avatar items will be rewarded to Trainers who reach Rank 3.
Trainers will be able to earn avatar items and a pose inspired by Bea, Gym Leader of Stow-on-Side’s Gym in Pokémon Sword!
- Ace rank: Bea-Style Gloves
- Veteran rank: Bea-Style Headband
- Expert rank: Bea-Style Outfit
- Legend rank: Bea-Style Pose
At rank 19, you’ll receive an Elite Charged TM, and you’ll also receive an Elite Fast TM as an end-of-season reward.
Cups
You can look forward to the following cups this season.
Great League
- Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
Great League Remix
- Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
- The 20 Pokémon most used by Trainers Ace rank and up in the Great League will not be allowed in the Great League Remix.
The following Pokémon will not be allowed.
Ultra League
- Pokémon must be at or below 2,500 CP to enter.
Master League
- No CP Limit.
Catch Cup — GO Fest Edition
- Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
- Only Pokémon caught during GO Fest weekend allowed*
Retro Cup
- Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
- Fairy-, Dark-, and Steel-type Pokémon are not eligible.
Kanto Cup
- Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
- Only Pokémon with a Pokédex number from #1 to #151 will be eligible.
Flying Cup
- Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
- Only Flying-type Pokémon will be eligible.
Fossil Cup
- Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
- Only Water-, Rock-, and Steel-type Pokémon will be permitted.
Element Cup
- Pokémon must be at or below 500 CP to enter.
- Only Fire-, Grass-, and Water-type Pokémon are eligible.
- Only Pokémon that are able to evolve and have not evolved even once are eligible.
Summer Cup
- Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
- Only Normal-, Fire-, Water-, Grass-, Electric-, and Bug-type Pokémon will be permitted.
Fighting Cup
- Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
- Only Fighting-type Pokémon will be permitted.
- Psychic-type Pokémon will not be permitted.
Little Cup Remix
- Pokémon must be at or below 500 CP to enter.
- Only Pokémon that are able to evolve and have not evolved even once are eligible.
The Four Little Cup Pokémon most used by Trainers in the last Little Cup will not be allowed in Little Cup Remix.
The following Pokémon will not be allowed.
