Thanks for an awesome Pokémon GO Fest: Seattle!
Trainers,
Thank you so much for joining the second in-person Pokémon GO Fest event of the year! This past weekend, tons of Trainers gathered to explore Seattle Center and the wider city of Seattle. Here’s just a small sample of what they accomplished.
Trainers caught over 17,000,000 Pokémon.
Trainers collectively explored over 618,000 kilometers.
Using Campfire, Trainers lit over 57,000 total Flares to signal to nearby players where to find some fun.
Four real-world habitats came to life at Seattle Center—Cloud Sanctuary, The Oasis, Dreamy Mindscape, and Electric Garden—each featuring themed Pokémon and a Collection Challenge. Amidst all this exploring, Trainers made new friends, battled, took commemorative photos, participated in giveaways, picked up merch, met notable Trainers, and learned about the Pokémon Trading Card game at the Discovery Lab. Some even got special photos with Pikachu and Eevee! Shadowed by Seattle’s iconic Space Needle, Trainers joined Rhi in investigating the Ultra Wormholes—and the Ultra Beast Buzzwole made its Pokémon GO debut!
At the same time, Trainers around the globe worked together to complete 20,000,000 raids. Their efforts unlocked some amazing bonuses, including Ultra Unlock: Hisuian Discoveries and Ultra Unlock: Hisuian Discoveries Raid Day!
From the global event back in June to Berlin and now Seattle, Pokémon GO Fest 2022 has been nothing short of incredible, and it wouldn’t have been possible without you. Seeing so many enthusiastic Trainers across these events reminds us how grateful we are to have such an amazing community. The celebration continues with Pokémon GO Fest: Sapporo and our worldwide Pokémon GO Fest 2022 finale event on Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time.
