We’re grateful for a successful Pokémon GO Fest 2022!
Trainers,
What an incredible weekend! Pokémon GO Fest 2022 started with a bang, so let’s take a look back before the celebrations continue with our in-person events in Berlin, Seattle, and Sapporo!
This year’s Pokémon GO Fest is a celebration of gratitude and community. We kicked things off with a two-day global event, bringing the festivities to Trainers all over the world.
Trainers caught over one billion Pokémon.
Trainers spun over 750 million PokéStops.
Trainers collectively explored over 100 million kilometers.
On the first day of this year’s Pokémon GO Fest, Trainers worked with Professor Willow to determine the best way to find the Mythical Pokémon Shaymin. That hard work paid off, and Trainers were able to encounter Shaymin in its Land Forme—marking the first time Trainers were able to encounter and catch it in Pokémon GO!
As the second day of Pokémon GO Fest began, Ultra Wormholes formed in the sky and the formidable Ultra Beast Nihilego appeared in five-star raids! To make matters worse, Professor Willow went missing! In all the commotion, Trainers met the mysterious GO Ultra Recon Squad member Rhi, and, working together, they managed to catch Nihilego and bring the celebration back under control.
Thank you, Trainers, for making this two-day global event so spectacular! We were so grateful to see Trainers celebrating around the world, whether at home or out with friends. We’re excited to keep celebrating with you at our in-person events this summer!
Pokémon GO Fest 2022 continues with in-person events in Berlin, Germany, Seattle, WA, USA, and Sapporo, Japan. Tickets are still available! And don’t forget that this year’s Pokémon GO Fest will end with a global finale event on August 27, 2022!
Whether you’re planning to attend an in-person event or participate in the global finale, we can’t wait to celebrate together. Let’s GO!
