What are Seasons?

In Pokémon GO, Seasons are periods of time that feature new events, Pokémon debuts, and surprises that all follow a certain theme.

As the Seasons change, you may also find different Pokémon appearing in your area and hatching from Eggs. Make sure to explore during each in-game Season to collect and train as many different Pokémon as you can! You’ll also enjoy special bonuses as you do.

You never know what new surprises you’ll find during a new Pokémon GO Season. Why not check out what the latest one has to offer?

Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Tickets on sale now!

The biggest Pokémon GO event of the year is back! Join millions of Pokémon GO fans from around the world for exciting adventures, exclusive gameplay opportunities, and even some mythical surprises. Tickets are available now.

Form a new light at Pokémon GO Fest 2024 with Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma!

Certain Pokémon, like the Prism Pokémon Necrozma, have been observed to combine with other Pokémon in a phenomenon known as “fusion.”

During Pokémon GO Fest 2024, Trainers will be able to join Raid Battles against Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma to collect Solar Fusion Energy and Lunar Fusion Energy respectively. These energies can then be used to perform fusion for the first time in Pokémon GO! Solar Fusion Energy can be used to fuse Necrozma with Solgaleo to create Dusk Mane Necrozma, while Lunar Fusion Energy can be used to fuse Necrozma with Lunala to create Dawn Wings Necrozma.

Necrozma makes its global Pokémon GO debut in raids!

Necrozma, the Prism Pokémon, will make its Pokémon GO debut in raids during Pokémon GO Fest 2024.

Encounter Necrozma in five-star raids starting with the in-person Pokémon GO Fest 2024 events, and take on Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma in five-star raids during the global event.

A ghostly sighting—Marshadow makes its global debut in Pokémon GO!

After its appearances in Sendai, Madrid, and New York City, the Mythical Pokémon Marshadow will make its global Pokémon GO debut on the first day of Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Global.

Ticket-holding Trainers will be able to complete exclusive Special Research to learn more about the Gloomdweller Pokémon…and have an opportunity to encounter it!

Shared Skies, Shared Experiences

Some of the Pokémon featured during the in-person Pokémon GO Fest 2024 events will also be appearing during three separate global events!
