Pokémon GO Wild Area: Fukuoka Shopping Campaign!

What is this campaign?
You can get a limited edition Pokémon GO Wild Area: Fukuoka sticker by showing the Pokémon GO game screen when making a purchase at designated stores in Fukuoka City.

*Stickers will be limited to one per Trainer.
*Stickers will only be distributed to Trainers with the Pokémon GO app installed and an active account.
*Quantities at each location will be limited. Stickers will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
*Trainers must be 18 years or older to participate in this campaign. Trainers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
*Posters will be displayed at participating stores.
*Campaign is subject to change or end without notice.
*Resale of stickers is prohibited.

By following the Official Route, you’ll be able to discover great places to eat, fun shopping, and many other interesting spots in Fukuoka City!

Official Routes are designed, often in collaboration with local city governments, to help Trainers get the most out of Pokémon GO and their time in the area. They’ll make your experience as enjoyable as possible as you discover (or rediscover) all the hidden treasures throughout the city.

*The time listed on your ticket indicates the window in which you can play in the Maiduru Park event venue. Trainers with either morning or afternoon session tickets can enjoy event gameplay anywhere in Fukuoka City (outside of the event area of Maiduru Park) from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. JST.

Akasaka Subway Station: 8 minute walk from Fukuoka Subway Airport Line, Akasaka Station.

Can I participate in Pokémon GO Wild Area: Fukuoka from anywhere in the world if I have an in-person event ticket?

In order to enjoy Pokémon GO Wild Area: Fukuoka event gameplay, you must be physically present in Maiduru Park event venue or Fukuoka City.

How do I start playing after I arrive at Maiduru Park event venue or Fukuoka City?

To begin your Pokémon GO Wild Area Park Experience, simply arrive at Maiduru Park event venue or Fukuoka City on the date and time of your purchased ticket and open Pokémon GO.

Can I play Pokémon GO at the event venue without an in-person event ticket?

Event-exclusive gameplay is available only for ticket holders. Those without an in-person event ticket will not be able to play Pokémon GO in the park during the event. Your park ticket will only be active for the specified day and time, and you will not have gameplay inside the park at other times.

  • Trainers with morning or afternoon session tickets can enjoy event gameplay anywhere in Fukuoka City (outside of Maiduru Park event venue) from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. JST.

  • Event gameplay will be available only at the specified locations at the specified dates and times.
  • Trainers will not be able to participate in the event outside of the specified locations (Maiduru Park event venue and Fukuoka City) even with a ticket.

What should I do if I am unable to access the event's exclusive gameplay even though I purchased a ticket?

Please visit the Technical Support desk. For any other gameplay issues during the event, please contact us through the app.

What should I do if an error occurs in the game?

For frequently asked questions regarding events, please refer to the Pokémon GO Help Center. In most cases, the issue can be resolved by restarting the app or device.

Health and Safety
If you feel unwell

Please visit the first aid tent located in the event venue or speak to the nearest staff member wearing a yellow or green T-shirt. Staff members will be circulating throughout the event venue and may call out to anyone who appears to be unwell.

Health Care
  • Choose weather-appropriate attire.
  • Make sure to stay hydrated. Even if you do not feel thirsty, be sure to drink plenty of water and keep up your electrolytes with sports drinks, etc. There will be an Ito En booth, vending machines, and food trucks within the park.
  • Trainers who have young children with them should pay particularly close attention to the children’s well-being.
Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in all event venue areas.

Lost or Missing Children

Please visit the Information Desk if you become separated from any children attending with you.

Harassment

You can also visit the Information Desk if you experience any form of harassment at the event.

Picking Up Your Preorder Items
When and where can I pick up my preorder items?

You can pick up preorder items at the pick-up booth during event hours on November 16 and November 17, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. JST each day.

What do I need to pick up my preorder items?

You will need the QR code displayed in your Pokémon GO app. The code will also be provided in the email sent at the time of your preorder.

Can I purchase preorder items on site at the event?

Preorder items are not available for purchase at the event venue.

Can I cancel or exchange an item that I preordered?

We do not offer refunds or exchanges on preorder items.

  • Eligibility: Children under 13 years old and their families
  • Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Please keep an eye on your child.
  • Children cannot be left unattended.

Trash Disposal

Battery Charging

There will be a limited number of chargers available at stations labeled as PokéStops. We recommend bringing a fully charged power bank with you.

Device Care

Your device is more likely to overheat while playing in hot weather. Make sure to take a break from playing to give your device a rest.

Lost and Found

If you forget or lose your belongings inside the event venue, please visit the Lost and Found tent next to the Information Desk. At the end of the event, any items found will be taken to Fukuoka Central Police Station (phone number: +81-92-734-0110).

Inclement Weather

The event will be held regardless of the weather. However, in the case of extreme weather or natural disasters, the event may be suspended. Please check the local weather forecast before coming to the event and wear appropriate clothing.
